Build social network with Feeds

Feeds are similar to social media posts or updates. It provides a platform for communication, sharing news, celebrating successes, and making organizational announcements. This enhances communication, engagement, and transparency within an organization.

The Feeds feature in the greytHR Mobile application helps you to connect with the people in your organization via text, documents, or images. You can either share the information with everyone or with a specific group of people. The feature also allows you to respond to a post by liking or commenting on them.

To view the Feeds screen, from the greytHR Mobile application, navigate to Explore > Feeds. 

You can view a list of all the posts related to birthdays, announcements, and work anniversaries. The Filter option enables you to filter the feeds based on recent and most interacted posts. The All Feeds option helps you in viewing the posts group-wise.

You can perform the following actions on the Feeds page:

  1. Create a Post.

  2. Like and comment on a post.

  3. Delete a Comment.

Create a Post

To create a post, perform the following actions:

  1. On the bottom right corner of the Feeds screen, tap Create Post. The Create Post screen appears. 

  2. On the top left corner of the Create Post screen, tap the dropdown list and select the group you want to share your post with. 

  3. In the Write Here description area, enter the required content. 

  4. On the bottom left corner of the Create Post screen, tap the relevant icon to insert images/documents.
    Note: It is recommended to use the View Posting Guidelines option before posting any information.

  5. Tap the Post option to create a post in the Feeds.

Like and comment on a post

The Feeds screen enables you to respond to various posts using the Like and Comment options.

  • Like: Use this option to Like a particular post

  • Comment: Use this option to Comment on a post.

Delete a Comment

To delete a post that you created, perform the following actions:

  1. On the Feeds screen, tap the required comment.

  2. Tap the Delete option. Confirm pop-up appears.

  3. Tap Confirm to delete the selected comment.
