Split Shift is a work shift that includes two or more separate duty periods within a day, with longer breaks than usual (such as for lunch or rest) between these periods. With greytHR's Split Shift functionality, you, as an admin, can define shift durations and relevant employee groups, as well as efficiently track split shift attendance.
In order to experience the functionality, you must first enable the option. The New Features page in the greytHR Admin portal allows you to enable/disable the functionality as per your requirements.
To view the New Features page, click My Account > New Features.
To enable the split shift functionality, perform the following actions:
On the New Features page, from the list of features, search for Split Shift.
Click the card. The card expands.
Click the Enable this feature button. The Enable Feature pop-up appears.
Click Confirm to enable the Split Shift functionality in greytHR. You can now configure Split Shift-related information using relevant fields in the application.
